X Transport is 'n konsepvragvervoervoertuig wat ontwerp is vir Antarktiese navorsingstasies. Die ontwerp is geïnspireer deur pikkewyne, wat op hul mae gly om vinnig oor ys en sneeu te beweeg. Die dop is van metaal gemaak, en die twee ski's aan die basis is van hoësterkte-koolstofvesel gemaak. Voortstuwingseenhede aan die bokant en die stert gebruik vektorstootkragtegnologie om spoed en rigting te beheer. Inspirasie: The inspiration comes from The Antarctic penguins. They are inconvenient to walk on the ice and snow, but their heavy bodies can move forward quickly by sticking their bellies on the snow. How to make the transport equipment full of materials move efficiently on the snow? The design found the answer in penguins.
Projekduur: The project started in December 2018 in LAFA Industrial Design Studio and finished in January 2020 in National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Industrial Design in LAFA.
Bedryfsvloei: The cargo carrying part of the transport boat can be lifted and lowered by the X-type structure. When the cargo is loaded, the cabin rises and starts to move. According to the different speed and terrain, the X-type structure can also adjust the lifting and lowering and control the center of gravity of the transport boat.
