Die Gelukkige Ruyi-stoel is 'n stoel geïnspireer deur die Ruyi-motief, 'n tradisionele Chinese simbool van goeie geluk. - For this project, the designer has set the classic chair style shape as the structural basis and combined it with the simplified Ruyi pattern. Then, by duplicating and flipping the pattern, the pattern is overlapped and fused to form a curved seat and legs, perfectly blending traditional culture with modern aesthetics.

This project is a clever application of one of the historical motifs of Chinese culture, Ruyi, to a modern product design. From 3D natural objects to 2D patterns and then applying them to 3D products, the designer has simplified the lines and colors to create a work that is aesthetically modern and attractive.
