Die Ontwerp

Oor Ledvance Buitelugarea-lig

Produksietegnologie
The weatherproof coating effectively protects it against rain erosion and natural weathering. The seamless top surface, free of openings or mold seams, minimizes the risk of water ingress, further prolonging the product’s service life.
The light’s A side features bold, single linear edges and sharp lines to reinforce a strong and solid visual impression. The straight cut body embodies the brand’s distinctive style and German craftsmanship, presenting a refined aesthetic.
Ontwerpuitdaging
The challenge is ensuring stable performance in harsh outdoor conditions. Its 360 degree hovering LED structure forms a ventilated gap around the main LED module, enhancing heat dissipation and enabling all angle drainage for water and snow, ideal for diverse and challenging weather conditions such as high temperatures, rain, and snow. Its trapezoidal housing, Dark Sky certified, controls glare and guides rain, snow, and dust to slide off, preventing accumulation on illuminated surfaces.
Navorsing
Traditional outdoor lights often suffer from difficult light distribution adjustment, poor sealing, low heat dissipation efficiency, and limited adaptability, affecting longterm reliability and efficiency. The product features the Opti Select multiple beam control system for quick light distribution switching and a robust structure that enhances heat dissipation and water and snow drainage. It supports the addition of multimodal sensors, offering stable lighting across diverse outdoor scenarios.
Inspirasie
The design embraces the philosophy of less is more, combining the distinctive scale geometric patterns with clean, minimalist lines to create a surface that changes with light. Finished in a sleek, understated black, it reinforces the lamp’s durability and trusted performance in outdoor environments. The slim profile, with all surfaces featuring G2 transitions to achieve seamless, flowing contours, showcases precision craftsmanship and minimalist elegance.
Projekduur
Initiated in February 2023, the project was launched in North America in 2024.
Bedryfsvloei
With Opti Select multiple beam control system, it enables quick switching between Type III, IV, and V light distributions via an electronic switch, no lens swap or screw removal needed, preventing moisture ingress caused by lens replacement.
A downward opening cover facilitates maintenance and prevents rainwater and dust ingress that may occur in upward opening designs.
The control module supports the addition of multimodal sensors like sound and light, enabling intelligent, responsive lighting.
