Gemdale Inner Peace is 'n bemarkingsentrum van 550 vierkante meter wat ontwerp is met moderne deurlopende kurwes en die kleure van tee en water. 'n Gestruktureerde kolomnetwerk verdeel die interieur in drie afsonderlike maar deurlopende funksionele areas. By die ingangsas word die sandtafelarea oorspan deur grys spieëls wat 'n spieëlmeer vorm, en druppelvormige kroonkandelaars hang bo-op. In die teekamer van die vergaderarea val die plafon af in die muur en is dit besaai met klein ronde gate. 'n Boekkroeg met golfvormige plafon en mure kyk uit op die teekamer.

Unieke Eienskappe: The overall plan relies on the arrangement of structured column network, and divides the space into 3 separate and continuous functional areas. With the entrance as the axis, the area sand table is topped by grey mirrors, forming a mirror lake. Drop-like chandeliers pour down, hung in the sky. In the tea room of the meeting area, ceiling falls into the wall, which is scattered with round holes like salmon roe. Tea tables with tea sets are silently integrated into the modern curvilinear form.

Compared with the tea room, the book bar is a little less brown, but with the wave-shaped ceiling and wall, it turns into a wide open charming spaces.
Ontwerpuitdaging: The largest challenge is how to make all necessary functions perfectly integrate with the space in the limited area. Besides, the application and production of curved elements are also the difficult part in the construction.
Navorsing: Looking for today in the context of history and continuing history in contemporary life. Using the unique space design, the designer launched a dialogue between ancient and modern.
The client hoped the core of traditional culture could be shown in the commercial sales centre in an implicit not dramatic way so as to match the identity of educated people. Thus, the designers sought inspiration from Chinese traditional elements and fluent curved elements from natural mountain and water landscape.
