ታይ (Tie) ሁለት ሰዎች ጎን ለጎን እንዲቀመጡ የተነደፈ የእንጨት አግዳሚ ወንበር ነው። መቀመጫውና የጀርባ ማስደገፊያው ከአንድ ሙሉ የእንጨት ግንድ በእጅ የተጠረቡ ሲሆኑ፣ የታጠፈ እንጨት፣ ትራስ ወይም ስፕሪንግ ጥቅም ላይ አልዋሉም። ባህላዊ የጃፓን የእጅ መላጫዎችና ቢላዎች ኩርባዎቹን ቅርጽ ሲሰጡ የእንጨቱን ተፈጥሯዊ ውበት እንደሚታይ ጠብቀዋል። የተጠማዘዘው የጀርባ ማስደገፊያ አብረው የተቀመጡ ሁለት ሰዎች እርስ በርስ ተቀራርበው እንዲያርፉ ያስችላል። ታይ ለምግብ መመገብ፣ እግርን ዘርግቶ ለማንበብ ወይም በተለያዩ አቀማመጦች ለመተኛት ተስማሚ ነው። አሁን ያለው ቅርጽ በ2020 በቶኪዮ፣ ጃፓን ተጠናቅቋል።

We feel that pursuing the beauty of the chair, to all intents and purposes, is as important as the function it serves. We want it to satisfy the space and time we spend on it to be elegant and meaningful.
