እናት ምድር በደካማ ጤንነት ላይ ያለች ሴት አድርጎ ፕላኔቷን በሰው መልክ የሚያቀርብ የስቱዲዮ የቁም ፎቶግራፍ ነው። ሜካፑ ውቅያኖሶችን፣ ተክሎችንና አፈርን ለመወከል አረንጓዴ፣ ሰማያዊና ቡናማ ቀለሞችን ይጠቀማል። ሕመምን ለመጠቆም የሚሞቱ የአበባ ቅጠሎች በሞዴሉ ራስ ላይ ተቀምጠዋል። የሞዴሉ ገጽታ ሀዘንንና ተጋላጭነትን ያስተላልፋል። ብርሃኑ በሞዴሉ ላይ አንድ ትልቅ ኦክታቦክስና በጀርባው ላይ አንድ መብራት በመጠቀም ተፈጥሯል። የመጨረሻው ምስል በዲጂታል የማስተካከያ ሶፍትዌር ተጣርቷል። ፎቶግራፉ ብክለትን ከሰው ልጅ ስሜት ጋር ያገናኛል እንዲሁም ለአየር ንብረት ለውጥ ትኩረት ይስባል።

ልዩ ባህሪያት: The goal is to transfer earth pollution suffering into human emotion, to grab people attention to a raising problem of modern life style.

የማምረቻ ቴክኖሎጂ: I sketched the idea for the makeup artist to understand the concept. The colors are representation of nature, and the dead flowers on the head of the model to show that she is dying. I asked the model to show vulnerability and sadness. I used one big octabox on the model and one light on the backdrop.
የዲዛይን ተግዳሮት: The hardest part of this project was to find an African model. At the time of making this project, modeling agencies wast not common. So finding a model of a specific look was difficult.
ምርምር: How earth would look like in a human form is the main is the core of this project. So, I mainly used google to view other artist approach of this concept, to get inspiration. The I did sketches of my own to show them to the makeup artist so she could understand my vision. I decided to hire an African model since Africa is the most connected with nature than others. I used dying petals as a representation of sickness. The green, blue and brown ware used as the colors of nature.
መነሳሻ: When I was a kid winter used to be colder and longer. Climate is actually changing due to global worming. Mother earth is dying and we are the ones responsible for that. So I though to represent planet earth as a sick woman waring nature, with makeup inspired by oceans, plants and soil. I choose an African model, as for me, Africa is the closest place on earth to pure nature.
የፕሮጀክት ጊዜ: The photograph took around 3 hours for the makeup and shooting in studio and 2 hours of retouching. It was shot in Kuwait 2015.
የሥራ ሂደት: Mother Earth photograph main perps is to engage with the viewers emotionally. So the best way to view this photograph is to look hard to the model's face and try to read her emotions.
