"يوميات ووهان" هي يوميات بصرية تتناول الحياة اليومية في مدينة ووهان خلال الجائحة. يستخدم المشروع البرمجة لبناء لغات بصرية قائمة على التضاريس، مستمدة من آراء الرأي العام المجمَّعة وبيانات الحالات المؤكدة. ويعبّر اللون وكثافة أشكال الجبال المتموجة عن البيئة الاجتماعية والمزاج المتغيّر في كل فترة زمنية. وقد جرى بناء شكل أرضي ثلاثي الأبعاد انطلاقًا من بيانات بارامترية داخل بيئة Unity. تُقدَّم "يوميات ووهان" في هيئة ملصق بأبعاد 420 × 594 مليمترًا، إلى جانب رسوميات متحركة وواقع معزز وإسقاط ضوئي تفاعلي.

الخصائص الفريدة: The Chinese people's concept of nature and world outlook are all firmly based on our land. I used programming to present a series of case studies on terrain-based visual languages and collected public opinions during the pandemic period. I used the color and density of rolling mountains to present the social environment and my emotions while under the pandemic situation, which creates a visual diary.

تحدي التصميم: I hope to combine the land elements with social data during the epidemic through visual design to create dynamic graphics that allow people to feel and reflect on what they experienced during the epidemic. A basic three-dimensional earth shape was built referencing the ubiquitous earth elements in Xu Bing's works, the collected public opinions, and confirmed case data of the epidemic. The data was then parameterized and with the combination of colours, they were imported to UNITY to realize a visual earth shape.
البحث: In January, the city of Wuhan captured the world's attention overnight as COVID-19 swept the globe. At this special moment, I am in Wuhan, experiencing the whole process of Wuhan’s fight against the epidemic. In this difficult time, I recorded all the things that happened around during this period and showed the changes in personal mood during each period through visual diaries so that more people could understand the thoughts of people in this special city of Wuhan under the epidemic.
Wuhan is my hometown, and the land I love so much that I can't help but think of how close the poems of ancients’ homeland and national emotions are to my current feelings. This involuntarily makes me aware of the homeland feelings in my genes.
الإلهام: Due to the pandemic, I was quarantined at home for nearly three months, during which I had plenty of time to think about the modern relationship between humans and nature.
