حول Safety Pin خاتم
"دبوس الأمان" هو خاتم صُمّم على هيئة دبوس أمان يعمل بكامل وظيفته. يستقر الخاتم فوق ثلاثة من أصابع مرتديه، ويمكن استخدامه أيضًا كبروش أو قلادة أو دبوس. صُنع "دبوس الأمان" من الذهب الأصفر عيار 18 قيراطًا، ورُصّع بأحجار كريمة متعددة الألوان بوزن 2.09 قيراط، ليبلغ وزنه الإجمالي 14.40 غرامًا. أُعدّ نموذج ثلاثي الأبعاد أولًا، ثم طُبع نموذج أولي من الشمع وسُبك بالذهب. وجرى إنهاء القطعة المسبوكة يدويًا وصقلها، ثم ثُبّتت الأحجار الكريمة في مواضعها وجُمعت الأجزاء معًا. ويهدف التصميم إلى أن يبقى خفيف الوزن وسهل الارتداء ومفعمًا بروح المرح.

- تقنية الإنتاج
- Developed in the 3D Matrix program for the jewellery industry based on the Rhinoceros program, a 3D model was created. After the safety pin were grown by prototyping on a 3D printer from wax, the cast was made in gold. They were processed by hand and polished with jewellery threads, for the perfect shine of the gems and showing their cut, clarity and colour. After that, precious stones were fixed into the base product and only then the parts were connected into the final figurines.

- The number one challenge is to combine the design of the piece with its technical side while maintaining it lightweight, wearable and ergonomic.

- Traditionally, jewellers have created static pieces for thousands of years. By adding movement to the jewellery I allow our pieces to come alive, inspired by the beauty of magic and nature. As a jeweller, my concept is to find ways to introduce kinetic effects and hidden secrets that are a unique joy to own.

- Invoking the magical wonderment of childhood, the Games collection fuses the fun with the fine. With their emphasis on actual play and irreverent references each piece has the dual purpose of encouraging daydreaming and lighthearted games

- The project started in January 2021 in London and finished in January 2022 in London. The overall process of production, improvements and quality check took about one year. These ring have never been exhibited before.

- A Multifunctional Safety Pin ring can be transformed in to brooch, pendant or pin. Also, it could be stylised and worn on many occasions with additional charms.
