"ملاذ الأصداء" مساحة داخلية سكنية تحوّل الذاكرة الشخصية إلى جزء فاعل من الحياة اليومية. فالكتب وقطع الأثاث الموروثة والمقتنيات المجموعة تندمج ضمن مسارات الحركة وأنظمة التخزين والعرض، لتنشأ بذلك مساحة سكنية تتعايش فيها الذاكرة مع الروتين اليومي. وتعمل التشطيبات الجدارية القابلة للتنفس المصنوعة من تراب الدياتومايت على تنظيم الرطوبة وامتصاص روائح المطبخ، مما يسهم في الحفاظ على قطع الأثاث التراثية المُرمّمة ومجموعات الكتب، مع إبقاء مناطق المطبخ والطعام والمعيشة مفتوحة ومترابطة. تمتد المساحة السكنية على نحو 130 مترًا مربعًا، مع جدران كتب مصممة خصيصًا يبلغ ارتفاعها 3.5 أمتار.

- Haven of Echoes redefines the residence as a living archive where memory objects actively shape spatial experience. Books, heirloom pieces, and collected artifacts are embedded into circulation, display, and storage systems, allowing personal history to unfold naturally through daily life. The integration of breathable diatomaceous earth walls enhances environmental comfort while preserving openness across the kitchen, dining, and living zones.

The central island measures 2.4 by 1.5 meters, while breathable diatomaceous wall finishes support passive odor absorption and humidity regulation.

Timber veneer, mineral plaster, steel detailing, and restored heritage furnishings were carefully coordinated to balance material warmth, durability, and preservation of personal collections within the open-plan residence.

Balancing social interaction, historical context, and material performance required careful coordination of circulation, storage depth, and breathable wall technologies, resulting in a residence that supports both emotional resonance and functional precision.

- This qualitative residential design study investigated how personal memory and collected artifacts can become part of everyday life. Research focused on circulation behavior, domestic rituals, and preservation needs through homeowner interviews, observation, and material testing. Findings informed a spatial strategy that improves usability, passive environmental comfort, and long-term heritage preservation, demonstrating how memory-driven interiors can enrich both daily living quality and emotional continuity.
