আজিনোমোতো তাইপেই সদর দপ্তর হলো তাইপেই শহরে অবস্থিত ৩৭৭ বর্গমিটারের একটি অফিস ইন্টেরিয়র। অফিসটি ঝংশান নর্থ রোডে আট মিটার উচ্চতার সিলিংযুক্ত একটি লফট জুড়ে বিস্তৃত। নকশাটি জাপানি ওয়াবি-সাবি নন্দনতত্ত্ব অনুসরণ করে, যা অপূর্ণতার মধ্যেই সৌন্দর্য খুঁজে পায়। একটি থিয়েটার ক্যাটওয়াক উল্লম্ব পরিসরের রূপরেখা তৈরি করে, শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রণ, বায়ু চলাচল ও আলোকসজ্জার পাইপলাইন বহন করে এবং রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের জন্য একটি নিরাপদ প্ল্যাটফর্ম গড়ে তোলে। একটি প্রতিসম ষড়ভুজাকার বিন্যাস নমনীয় আসবাব এবং নির্দিষ্ট আসনবিহীন ফ্রি অ্যাড্রেস ব্যবস্থার সুযোগ দেয়। শব্দনিরোধক বুথগুলো গোপনীয়তা নিশ্চিত করে এবং কোলাহল কমায়।

- Situated on the historic Royal Avenue of the Zhongshan North Road business district, the office occupies a rare loft with an eight-meter ceiling height. The space was transformed into a grand and elegant environment for the multinational corporation, emphasizing Japanese cultural aesthetics, efficient lighting, three-dimensional circulation planning, and structural restoration.

- The office redesign incorporates a theater catwalk concept to outline vertical spaces, serving as a relaxation area for employees and integrating functional pipelines for air conditioning, ventilation, and lighting systems. This also provides a safe platform for future maintenance work.

- Adapting to the high rental costs in the urban area, the renovation was strategically executed in two phases for efficient relocation. The design challenge was to create a multipurpose space that could accommodate diverse working and interaction needs, including soundproof phone booths for privacy and noise reduction.

- The design concept was inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-Sabi, which finds beauty in imperfection and transience. This aesthetic guided the renovation of the century-old office for Ajinomoto, a leading producer of amino acids and related products, which has established a critical presence in the medical and electronics markets since its founding in 1908.
