O dizajnu Totem Kuhinjski sistem

Totem je modularni vertikalni kuhinjski sistem. Svaki modul može sadržavati rernu, aspirator, frižider, ploču za kuhanje, radnu površinu, sudoperu, aparat za kafu, mašinu za pranje sudova ili prostor za odlaganje. Moduli se slažu jedan na drugi i povezuju strukturalnim i električnim vezama, tako da se uređaji mogu koristiti sa jedne, dvije, tri ili četiri strane. Svaki modularni element ima širinu od 650 mm i dubinu od 650 mm, dok se visina razlikuje u zavisnosti od funkcije koju sadrži. Tamo gdje priključak za odvod nije potreban, Totem može opremiti kancelarije, kantine ili manje stanove.

Jedinstvena svojstva: Combinable vertical kitchen system: the modules can be containers, ovens, extractor hood, refrigerator, hobs, counter tops, sink, coffee machine, dishwasher and what else is needed to set up a complete kitchen. if the drain connection is not needed, this kitchen combo can be placed practically anywhere and can be assembled as needed to furnish offices, canteen rooms, existing kitchens or solve space problems in small flats. It allows the use of its devices on 1, 2, 3 or even 4 fronts.

Tehnologija proizvodnje: The product consists of electrified container modules that can house all types of domestic appliances. Each of the modules is composed of a metal structure and a coating chosen in relation to the context and the functions to be housed. It is produced by assembling simple and modular extruded, pre-folded or calendered elements screwed together.
Dizajnerski izazov: The creative challenge was to configure a system that could adapt to all spaces and all positions, ensuring full efficiency and functionality in a small footprint. the choice of stackability and the great cleanliness of the design made it possible to reach a good compromise between the various issues involved.
Istraživanje: The research was based on the study of the minimum space of the various components and on the needs of the users in the various frequented spaces, from the home to the office, from the shop to the motorway restaurant, from the camper to the yacht. The second important topic to be addressed was precisely the technological problem: the possibility of stacking all the pieces regardless of the orientation of the interface and the order of overlapping.
Inspiracija: The guiding image is the totem pole. A vertical element created by overlapping objects. In this case the objects have the possibility of working together through structural and electrical connections that allow them to be used in all directions.
The evolving lifestyle has guided the flexibility of use and the minimal and elegant style so that it can be positioned in all types of contexts, from the office to the motorway restaurant.
Trajanje projekta: The project started in Febrary 2019 in Teramo and finished in Febrary 2022 in Teramo
Tok rada: With this kitchen system you can compose your own service tools as you want. It can be placed anywhere and integrated into any kind of space. The presence of the UPS (the battery that allows it to work even without the mains power supply) also allows to guarantee operation during blackouts (allowing for example not to interrupt the cold chain of food).
