Sobre Empathy Làmpada de peu

Empathy és una làmpada de peu dissenyada per a llars i espais públics. La làmpada té una forma que respon a les necessitats pràctiques i emocionals de les persones. Un sensor de moviment es col·loca en una secció inclinada de l'estructura, a una alçada adequada tant per a usuaris asseguts com drets. Aquest sensor permet encendre el llum i ajustar-ne la intensitat sense necessitat de tocar-lo, la qual cosa afavoreix la higiene en cafeteries i hotels. Un mecanisme giratori permet girar el llum 360 graus horitzontalment i 90 graus verticalment. La làmpada està feta de metall i acrílic, amb una font de llum LED de 14 watts.

Propietats Úniques: This project is designed using the principles of empathy. Therefore, the floor lamp can adapt to the practical and emotional needs of a person. For example, the angular shape of the rebar is created to position the motion sensor. This construction allows a person to control it while sitting at a table or passing by. Traffic management is very important given the pandemic. It is also convenient if a person does not want to stain the floor lamp while eating or doing a craft.

Tecnologia de Producció: The use of the principles of empathy led to the study of a person's life and habits in order to find out how a person uses the floor lamp and under what circumstances and how it can be improved so that the lamp can adapt to different emotional and practical situations in a person's life. In order to do this, research was carried out in the form of observation of loved ones, colleagues and strangers at home, cafes, in the office and other spaces.
Repte de Disseny: An important part of the study was the search for a shape for embedding a motion sensor, because the location of the sensor must be in such a way that it is convenient to use in different scenarios. For example, when a person works sitting at the table or walks by. Therefore, the height of the sensor was first determined so that a person could use it both sitting and standing. And then the shape is determined based on the need to create a rotary mechanism.
Recerca: The concept of empathy allows, first of all, to focus not on the needs of the person himself, but on the emotions and needs of other people. This is very important for the designer, because studying only your own needs is not enough to create a popular product. Therefore, an investigation was made to study human behavior in different spaces, and surveys have been conducted to understand how such a simple subject can help make the world more human-centric.
Inspiració: Empathy is a conscious empathy for the emotional state of another person. The designer decided to set himself the task of combining this concept with the design of an object that is used in everyday life. The choice fell on a floor lamp with an original design, with a motion sensor and adjustable lighting power, as well as a rotary system.
Durada del Projecte: The project started in April 2023 in Moscow and finished in December 2023 in Moscow, and will be exhibited in April 2024 in Moscow.
Flux d'Operació: Users can use the light to work, read and rest by adjusting the power with a motion sensor.
