Sobre Buky Il·lustració

La sèrie Buky forma part d'un projecte més ampli conegut com Glagolitic Stories. Rep el nom de la segona lletra de l'escript glagolític i s'inspira en l'elegància dels caràcters glagolítics. La il·lustració presenta una dessuadora amb caputxa transformada amb una estampació de la lletra Buky, realçada amb accessoris, tractament de la roba, maquillatge i ambientació general. El que fa única aquesta il·lustració és la inspiració específica i l'enfocament tècnic, que es basa en l'experiència de les arts visuals i l'ús de noves tecnologies. Aquesta obra d'art es va crear mitjançant programari d'edició i tecnologia d'intel·ligència artificial.

Propietats Úniques: The uniqueness of the illustration lies in the specific inspiration and technical approach, based on the experience of visual arts and the use of new technologies, thus creating an image with the taste of contemporary fashion. It represents a transformed basic hoodie with the Buky letter print, elevated through the use of accessories, clothing treatment, makeup and overall ambiance. The key illustration was created with editing software and AI technology.

Tecnologia de Producció: The creation of the images begins with preparatory digital sketches, created using Pixlr - Photo Editor. The second step is image generation, using AI technology and different applications. After the primary selection, they are additionally edited and refined with Adobe Photoshop.
Repte de Disseny: Challenges have been encountered due to the limitations of some programs and applications. These obstacles have been overcome by skillfully exploiting the distinctive characteristics of each available tool. Occasionally, initial sketches required revision, while other cases required producing multiple generations of generated images before achieving the desired result. The AI technology phase was challenging as the designer learned the logic of the algorithm, and tried to choose the appropriate prompts.
Recerca: The project began in response to a creative impulse and inspiration from the Glagolitic script. Thanks to technology, it has been possible to predict the validity of design solutions. While working on the different designs, the designer also conducted historical and visual research into the use of this script over past centuries. Alongside the work on the designs, a phase of experimentation began with different illustration approaches. Illustrations related to this series are often published on social media, to test the reaction to the visual appearance, design, fashion category, and specific inspiration.
Inspiració: The inspiration for this illustration comes from the second letter of the Glagolitic script, known as Buky. This artwork aims to showcase a design inspired by this ancient writing system and its modern use in fashion design. The foundation of this project lies in the timeless elegance of these letters.
Durada del Projecte: The design project based on the Glagolitic script started in January 2024 in Skopje and is still in the development phase. It was a sequel to the previous project from 2017, which focused on the use of Glagolitic letters for pattern creation. The main illustration, part of the Buky series, was created in February 2024. It was used for the homepage of Nikola Eftimov's website.
Flux d'Operació: The purpose of these illustrations is the presentation of design work, simulation of possible products or sometimes starting points in the realization of specific designs. Some images from this series have already been used for interviews, on a personal website, and also for posts on social media.
