Ambi Climate Mini je chytrý ovladač pro klimatizace. Zařízení využívá umělou inteligenci k tomu, aby se naučilo preference uživatelů ohledně komfortu, a poté automaticky přizpůsobuje nastavení klimatizace. Zpětná vazba je poskytována prostřednictvím mobilní aplikace. Tvar je víceorientační, takže zařízení vypadá správně, ať už je namontováno na stěně, nebo umístěno na stole. Ventilační otvory jsou skryty v montážních spárách, což udržuje tělo zařízení kompaktní a bez viditelných otvorů. Základna z bukového dřeva pomáhá zařízení splynout s prostředím domácností a kanceláří.

Jedinečné vlastnosti: Ambi Climate mini uses A.I. to learn user's comfort preferences. It then automatically adjust and manage the user’s air-conditioner. The form is designed to be multi-orientational and to blend in. It always looks right side up whether it’s mounted on the wall or place on the table. The use of beech wood "coaster" makes it look comfortable in any home or office space. All these considerations give users plenty of options on where to place their Ambi Climate Mini.

Výrobní technologie: The device requires generous ventilation to allow the internal thermometer sensor to get an accurate reading of ambient temperature. For this reason, vents are strategically engineered to be hidden in assembly gaps without needing to add unsightly holes on the body. The generous hidden venting makes the form as compact and as minimal as possible.
Designová výzva: The challenge was to balance a premium build quality and cost of manufacturing. The team achieved this by making internal electronics as compact as possible, therefore, reducing material cost and leaving some budget for tighter tolerances, and use real beech wood to elevate the design.
Výzkum: Research data from the Company's flagship product was used for this project. Interviews were conducted to learn customers' preferences and their style association. A design language strategy was then established for Ambi Climate, allowing future products to use the same design language and philosophy, and maintain a consistent identity for the brand's product line.
Inspirace: The design was inspired by the calmness and warmth of a ceramic teacup placed on top of a wooden coaster. We’ve found this references to be most appropriate for a high-tech product because it makes the device feel welcoming and friendly. It humanizes technology and removes the intimidation factors out of the product.
Doba trvání projektu: The project started in April 2019 in Hong Kong and manufacturing began in August 2020. Ambi Climate Mini officially launched in October 2020.
Provozní postup: The device is operated using the Ambi Climate App, available on both iOS Appstore and Google Play store. The device can be paired with the AC simply by following the setup process in the app. Once the device is paired, users simply give feedback by telling the app if they are feeling too hot, too cold, or comfortable from time to time. In about 7 days, Ambi Climate's A.I. learns the user's preference and adjusts the AC automatically.
