Text knihy: Ren Community je umělecká galerie nacházející se v malém městském prostoru v čínském Chang-čou. Interiér měří 13 metrů na délku, 4,2 metru na šířku a 5,4 metru na výšku. Podél podélné osy je galerie rozdělena do tří sálů: předního, středního a zadního. Sály do sebe plynule přecházejí a vytvářejí vrstvené, otevřené plochy. Změny výšky a míry uzavřenosti dodávají prostoru pocit rytmu. Světlíky v předním a zadním sále přivádějí přirozené světlo. Povrchy pokrývá bílý mikrocement, který dodává prostoru čistý vzhled. Návrh nabízí tiché, do sebe obrácené místo uprostřed rušného města.

The museum is designed as an introverted space with no cluttered streets in sight, but the skylights in the front and back halls give the space a sacred temperament.
