O designu Casa de Mar Rodinný dům
Casa de Mar je rodinný dům v severní části Meridy na Yucatánu. Návrh propojuje architekturu s přírodou prostřednictvím prolínání interiérových a exteriérových prostorů. Zahrady lze pozorovat i využívat přímo z interiéru domu. Centrální objem ve tvaru podkovy obklopuje bazén, který ochlazuje vzduch odpařováním vody a podporuje přirozené větrání. Místní kámen a dřevo byly zvoleny pro svou trvanlivost, nenáročnou údržbu a soulad s regionem. Oddělené vstupy rozdělují společenskou a soukromou zónu, čímž zajišťují soukromí a pohodlí.
