Grand Overture je pohostinský sál o rozloze přibližně 1000 metrů čtverečních v čínské Šanghaji. Klenuté struktury vedou tok světla a stínu napříč několika úrovněmi. Krémově bílý kámen, dřevo v zemitých tónech a kovové akcenty vytvářejí vrstvy textury a tepla. Kamenné intarzované vzory ve stylu Art Deco a kamenná podlaha se vzorem rybí kosti odkazují na historické obchodní domy tohoto regionu. Zakřivené schodiště vede návštěvníky vzhůru a ve výtahové hale se nacházejí historické ukazatele pater. Klasické oblouky a barokní křivky jsou nově interpretovány prostřednictvím moderního geometrického přístupu.
