- Van Gogh’s sunflowers is considered innovative by the use of the yellow spectrum. The sunflower painting are perfectly materialized in the many yellow hues of citrines, the earring innovates by being very colorful using only shades of yellow. The gemstones overlap each other creating a 3D effect seen in flowers and their many layers. A matte finish with lines represents the leaves while a polished finish is used to represent the branches. Its bold shape and its characteristic of making layers of gemstones makes it a work of art.

- After extensive research on Van Gogh's paintings (there are almost 2000 works), the painting was chosen that would be the inspiration for the design.
