Am Ozz Prif Swyddogaeth: Lamp Grog

Testun y Llyfr: Mae'r dyluniad lamp hwn wedi'i ysbrydoli gan het dewin ac fe'i henwir ar ôl un o'r dewiniaid enwocaf, sef Oz. Mae ei ddyluniad yn seiliedig ar y syniad o ddefnyddio cylch yn unig fel elfen ddylunio, wedi'i thrawsnewid trwy wahanol amrywiadau tonnog i ddiffinio ffurf. Er bod yr amlinell yn aros yn gymharol gyson o wahanol safbwyntiau, mae'r cromliniau symudol yn dylanwadu'n gynnil ar sut mae person yn rhyngweithio â'r lamp. Mae symud o'i chwmpas yn creu ymdeimlad o symudiad tebyg i don i'r gwyliwr.

Mae Ozz Prif Swyddogaeth: Lamp Grog yn enillydd Gwobr Haearn A' Design Award, cydnabyddiaeth fawreddog a roddir i ddyluniadau da sydd yn bodloni'r gofynion proffesiynol a diwydiannol a ddisgwylir gan greadigaethau wedi'u dylunio'n dda. Mae enillwyr Haearn yn dangos medrusrwydd mawr, arbenigedd uchel, dealltwriaeth arbenigol a gallu creadigol eu crewyr. Disgwylir i Ozz Prif Swyddogaeth: Lamp Grog fod yn greadigaeth uchel ei bri, a edmygir ac a anwylir, sydd yn ymarferol ac yn arloesol. Mae'r dyluniad buddugol hwn o Wobr Haearn A' Design Award yn integreiddio arferion gorau'r diwydiant ac mae ganddo nodweddion technegol cymwys wedi'u cysylltu â gwybodaeth ymarferol a dawn. Priodweddau Unigryw: This lamp’s form is defined by six curves based on the circle. The top and bottom circles are perfect circles, while the four in between ones are deformed and angled to create variation. Though the overall silhouette remains similar from different viewpoints, the shifting curves affect how the lamp interacts with ambient light across its’ surface.

Technoleg Cynhyrchu: The lamp design was made digitally and for its’ plaster mold production a prototype was 3d printed. Along with the prototype, the container that was used in order to place the prototype in and create the plaster mold, was also 3d printed. For this product, a small table that the mold can rest on, with a hole and a valve installed on its’ underside was used, in order to achieve a smooth drain out of the porcelain slip. This was done, in order to achieve the cleanest possible cast from a heavy mold, with the least amount of post clean-up.
Her Dylunio: Although the design and mold-making part proved to be straightforward, the biggest challenge arose during the firing of the porcelain. Finding the right temperature and firing programme for an object that has a large rim and irregular edges required a fair amount of tests.
Ymchwil: After designing the project and before jumping into its’ production, a prototype vessel was 3d printed in order to verify that an object with helical symmetry is in balance when suspended.
Ysbrydoliaeth: This lamp design draws inspiration from the form of a wizard’s hat; specifically, a tightly cropped interpretation that omits the brim and crown, leaving only the essence of its conical silhouette.
Hyd y Prosiect: The product was designed in early 2025 and production started in the summer of 2025. The entire process took place in Istanbul, Turkey.
Llif Gweithrediad: The lamp’s size and opening allow for it to be used as the main form of illumination in a space. Its’ sharp wavy edges create a sense of motion, while its’ smooth but also angular form allow it to blend into many space with different interior styles.
