Katsumi Tamura Receives the Platinum A' Design Award for Typeface Calendar in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design

Regarding Typeface Calendar

Typeface is a calendar designed around the concept of the typeface. The set contains four sheets. The months from January to December are punched out in an original typeface. Each sheet can be assembled into a three-dimensional unit that displays three months of the year. Assembly is simple and needs no glue or scissors. The sheets are made of pure white cardboard, and the number of fastening points is kept to a minimum. Each sheet measures 140 by 185 millimeters. The calendar can also be displayed as part of a room interior.
