Η Καρποφορία είναι μια φωτιστική εγκατάσταση που δημιουργήθηκε για ένα φεστιβάλ φαναριών στο Τaιτσούνγκ της Ταϊβάν. Η κύρια κατασκευή είναι ένα στοιβαγμένο πλαίσιο σε σχήμα χωραφιού, φτιαγμένο από μασίφ κορμούς κέδρου-ιτιάς. Επτά συστάδες φωτιστικών σε σχήμα καρπού σχηματίζονται από λεπτά φύλλα κέδρου-ιτιάς, λυγισμένα στο χέρι. Η βάση είναι μια τετράγωνη, χαμηλή δεξαμενή νερού καλυμμένη με μαύρα βότσαλα, όπου το νερό αντανακλά τη φωτισμένη φόρμα από πάνω. Αντί για καρφιά, χρησιμοποιούνται παραδοσιακές συνδέσεις γλωσσίδι-εγκοπή και μηχανισμοί συναρμογής με κλικ. Το έργο μπορεί να αποσυναρμολογηθεί πλήρως και να επιστρέψει στο χώμα μετά την έκθεση.

Μοναδικά Χαρακτηριστικά: 2020 Taiwan Lantern Festival in Taichung. A group of architects, curators, and artists read the pulse of mountains to forests with the creators own life experiences; with the collaboration of curatorial teams and residents from Taiwan and Japan, they experimented with the possibility of natural ecological materials with native wood materials, and at the same time combined with agricultural regeneration to propose another kind of landscape aesthetics New Taiwan Lantern.

Τεχνολογία Παραγωγής: The statue is made of a field-shaped stacked frame made of solid willow cedar jambs as the main structure, hung with seven light and fruit lamp clusters made of thinly sliced and bent willow cedar. We have also achieved excellent results with the help of our traditional staff who are well versed in the art of large wood construction.
Έρευνα: With an interest in sustainable construction, we wanted to redefine the lantern festival as an art installation but not a disposable piece of junk.
Drawing on traditional timber construction methods of mortise-and-tenon joints and snap-in hardware, the project is an attempt to create a disassembled installation that is both structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing.
The research process requires an understanding of the properties of wood construction and raw wood materials, and the ability to create new applications within them.
Έμπνευση: Fruitfulness, willow fir is used as a material to create a reversal of the landscape, and the work can be completely returned to the soil after the exhibition.
This work is a poem of the people of a mountain settlement, listening to the voice of the land and nature, and combining the wisdom of farming: a good cycle between the settlement, the land, and the hydrology, where the fields are aligned with each other, and where the harvest is fruitful and beautiful.

Ροή Λειτουργίας: Made from willow wood and veneer, the piece is made from a tongue and groove wooden structure with snap-on hardware and shaped by handcrafted veneer bending. No nails are used to achieve a sustainable outcome that can be completely disassembled.
