Η συλλογή Pomi d'Umbria Lignea είναι μια σειρά αρωματιστών χώρου που κατασκευάζονται στην Ούμπρια της Ιταλίας. Κάθε αρωματιστής συνδυάζει ένα γυάλινο μπουκάλι, φυσικά ραβδάκια καλαμιού και ένα ξύλινο σχεδιαστικό καπάκι. Τα καπάκια κατασκευάζονται από ξύλινες κορνίζες πινάκων, διακοσμημένες με ανάγλυφα φύλλων και καρπών. Κάθε καπάκι διαμορφώνεται στο χέρι και φινιρίζεται με φύλλο χρυσού, με αποτέλεσμα οι μικρές ατέλειες του υλικού να καθιστούν κάθε κομμάτι μοναδικό. Ανταλλακτικά και μια έκδοση σπρέι επεκτείνουν τη χρήση της συλλογής. Όταν το μπουκάλι αδειάσει, το ξύλινο καπάκι μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως πρες παπιέ.

Τεχνολογία Παραγωγής: The designer tops are made from wooden picture frames decorated with leaf and fruit molding. They are fashioned one by one, shaped exclusively by hand with a gold leaf finish, to become true jewels of the finest craftsmanship. Any tiny imperfection in the material renders each product unique and tells the story of a valuable art and craft process. Products come in FSC-certified cardboard cases. Inside are elegantly-shaped glass bottles containing hand-made fragrances, natural reed diffuser sticks.
Σχεδιαστική Πρόκληση: For the designer Elisabetta Furin, who is passionate about cultural anthropology, the design of a product must draw on the historical roots of local areas and influence craftsmanship and artistic expression with contemporary sensitivity.
Έρευνα: The designer Elisabetta Furin was instrumental in leading us to research an extraordinary material: wood. Through the emotional experience of room fragrances, Pomi is all about combining quality craftsmanship with local culture. So, the Lignea Collection becomes an opportunity to take a trip down memory lane and discover the treasures of this land. Even as a child, Elisabetta was in awe of the magnificent gold decorations seen on church altars, and through her studies she learned to appreciate their great artistic value and craftsmanship.
Έμπνευση: The designer tops are made of gilded wood and draw inspiration from the knowledge and experience of wood craftsmen and their work. Using wood taken from picture frames decorated with fruit and leaf molding, they are individually and exclusively handmade with a gold leaf finish, to become real jewels of the finest, Renaissance-style craftsmanship.
Διάρκεια Έργου: The project started in February 2020 in Perugia (Italy) and the collection was presented for the first time in October 2021 at Rastrello Boutique, a luxury hotel in Panicale, and was exhibited in February 2022 at Umbria-Toscana Bank, a regional finantial institution in piazza IV Novembre in Perugia, one of the most beautiful piazzas of Italy.
