Το Selftea είναι μια αυτόματη συσκευή παρασκευής τσαγιού σχεδιασμένη για την παρασκευή τούρκικου τσαγιού. Ένα σύστημα διπλού θαλάμου αναπαράγει την παραδοσιακή μέθοδο της διπλής τσαγιέρας, με δοχείο νερού χωρητικότητας 2,5 λίτρων και τσαγιέρα 1,5 λίτρου. Ένας συρόμενος μηχανισμός μεταφέρει το βραστό νερό στην τσαγιέρα για την έγχυση χωρίς χειροκίνητη εργασία. Ο έλεγχος θερμοκρασίας και οι αυτοματοποιημένοι κύκλοι εκχύλισης διαχειρίζονται τον χρόνο παρασκευής. Η ροή του νερού μπορεί να ρυθμιστεί για να αλλάξει η ένταση του τσαγιού. Traditional methods require precise control over steeping time, temperature, and tea water ratio, which are difficult to replicate mechanically. Socially, tea is a cultural ritual, making user acceptance crucial. Externally, technological limitations, material selection, and production feasibility posed challenges. Through rigorous R&D, smart automation, and material innovation, these obstacles were successfully overcome.

- Our process began with field research, user studies, and R&D testing, ensuring a deep understanding of traditional Turkish tea making and user expectations. The design journey was highly iterative, involving numerous sketches, prototypes, and extensive team discussions. Through collaboration and continuous refinement, we transformed insights into a functional, user friendly product that seamlessly integrates tradition with modern automation. This project is a true team effort, shaped by research and innovation.
