Το Mansions Design Inn είναι ένας εσωτερικός χώρος ξενοδοχείου που βρίσκεται σε έναν εμπορικό δρόμο στο Τσονγκτσίνγκ της Κίνας. Το έργο καλύπτει 800 τετραγωνικά μέτρα και αξιοποιεί το μεγάλο ύψος οροφής του αρχικού χώρου τύπου loft για να χωρίσει κάθε δωμάτιο σε δύο επίπεδα. Το κάτω επίπεδο λειτουργεί ως κοινόχρηστος χώρος, με καθιστικό, μπάνιο και αποθηκευτικούς χώρους. Το επάνω επίπεδο είναι ο χώρος ύπνου, με διάταξη για το κρέμασμα ρούχων και καπέλων και ένα δεύτερο μπάνιο όπου το επιτρέπει ο χώρος. Οι σκάλες λειτουργούν ως το οπτικό κέντρο κάθε δωματίου. - As the actual intention of the hotel, designers still need to bear in mind the importance of comfort and experience in this project. So they divide the whole space into two parts by taking advantage of the high layer-height relationship, which not only effectively improves the utilization rate of the space, but also considers the dynamic and static relationship from the functional partition.

- The project covers a total of 800 square meters. Since the whole space is divided into upper and lower floors, then the staircase must exist. Moreover, due to the narrow and long space itself, there are not too many areas to set the core visual center. Therefore, we use the staircase as a central expression carrier for each room.

- Mansions Design Inn is located in Guanyinqiao Commercial Street, where is the most popular place for young people in Chongqing. Designers began to think about what kind of city hotel can really integrate into such a macro environment. They use some symbols inherent in the factory to constantly strengthen the visual theme, so that the sense of experience can be felt at the first moment when the customers enter the room.

- Chongqing is not a city lacking imagination and stories, and its unique temperament has already affected all aspects of the city. Tall buildings and seemingly plump colors followed, which is the current modern, and prosperous appearance of most cities today. Therefore, the theme of modern factory emerged as the times require, and designers also want to create a little dialogue with the current city through some expressions.
