Acerca de Transparent Opaque Oficinas de Alta Tecnología

Este es un proyecto de oficinas de alta tecnología de dos niveles que abarca un área de 4,000 m², dando servicio a 400 empleados. Transformar este espacio abierto muy amplio pero naturalmente bien iluminado en un ambiente de trabajo íntimo y cálido fue el motivo esencial detrás del diseño. La distribución del espacio consiste en un área de trabajo de planta abierta que contiene una serie de habitaciones funcionales cerradas semitransparentes. Las áreas públicas fueron diseñadas para replicar el efecto de un hogar moderno mediante la instalación de una cocina americana completamente equipada y amueblada, sala de estar, sala de juegos y baño, así como mediante el uso de colores suaves, superficies de madera, textiles y alfombrado.

Propiedades Únicas: This is a two-level Hi-Tech office project serving approximately 400 employees. The space layout consists of an open space working area containing an array of semi-transparent closed functional rooms. Public areas were designed to duplicate the modern home effect by installing fully equipped and furnished kitchenette, living room, game room and washroom. Combined with natural light from the surrounding windows, our central concerns for maintaining a healthy work environment were addressed.
Dimensiones y Embalaje: This is a two-storey building covering 4,000 Sq.m area, located in southern Israel. Each level stands 5 meters in height and is of polygonal shape.

Tecnología de Producción: The color scheme was carefully chosen in repetitious smoked pastel tones matching the company brand, and appears on the upholstery, carpets, wall color and the graphics throughout the entire design. The underlying technique of sub space division playing with transparent opaque design in the form of glass petitions and patterned felt cloth 'screens', creates the open closed effect. The felt material acts both as a sound absorber as well as a colorful visual highlight.
Desafío de Diseño: The main challenge was providing an extension to the existing floor below while at the same time creating an entirely new experience above as well as a sense of flow between the three-storey levels.
The difficulty to be overcome was providing continuity of design by altering the furnishing and coloring of the existing lower floor.
Investigación: The research consisted of designing this office space according to the individual needs of the various departments. This includes the number of team members, their interaction and exchange of knowledge and ideas.
We also observed and measured the movement of the employees on the previous floorplan including passage thoroughfare, employee location, density in kitchenette and meeting rooms.
The result of this analysis led to two major conclusions: A staircase was centered in the middle of the floorplan to enhance worker interaction and a group of small meeting rooms was designed to meet the needs of the various work teams.
Inspiración: Transforming this very large yet naturally well-lit open space into an intimate, warm work environment was the essential motive behind the design. I wanted to create a warm boutique business lounge environment which blends both home and work into one theme.
This led to the inclusion of transparency and opaque interaction as an important element in the design as well as using soft colors, wooden surfaces, and carpeting.
Duración del Proyecto: This project was completed before the onset of Corona in Israel, left untouched for one year until its opening at the beginning of 2021. It was designed for the grand Hi-Tech company "Amdocs" of Israel. The entire project was completed within one year.
Flujo de Operación: The open workspace area was planned for the use of semi-transparent conference rooms situated between rows of workstations. This cooperative and interactive working 'neighborhood environment' simultaneously conveys a welcoming message of invitation for both workers and visitors. Moreover, the centrally stationed staircase contributes to the homely, flowing atmosphere of the two levels.
