Disain

Teosest Pokermate Deluxe Poker hoidikuga

Käesolev disain on spetsiaalselt välja töötatud eakate inimeste jaoks kaardimängu nautimiseks pandeemia ajal – noored täiskasvanud jäävad koju tööle ning neil on rohkem aega oma vanavanemaid hooldada. Kaardid on trükitud peenele siledal paberile, et mängijad saaksid neid väiksema vaevaga segada. Ülemisse vasakusse ja alumisse paremasse nurka trükitud sans-serif šriftid on suurendatud, et mängijad saaksid neid selgelt lugeda isegi nõrgenenud sensoorsete võimete korral. See on ideaalne disain mängijatele, kes soovivad mängida Big Two'd, Hiina pokkerit ja sobitusmänge koos kõigi pereliikmete ning ovaalse puitalusega.

Disainiülesanne: We spent a lot of time to design and test out the best angle and profile for the wooden stand, and gone through plenty of production meetings with the manufacturers in China before actual production.
Uurimistöö: We gather information through participative design workshop with local older people to learn more about their latent needs iteratively supported by community elderly centre. We notice that older people are less sensitive when they are holding objects such as smart phone, pen, chopsticks and playing cards etc. The wooden stand is made of solid beech and walnut to offer new experience to the market.
