Turkiako Kafe Koparen bitartekoak: Koparen helduleku geometrikoak Seljuk Kultura adierazten du, katiluaren gainazaleko hodei motiboak Otomandar Kultura eta zilindroaren formak Errepublika adierazten du, bi kulturak gaur arte daramatzala. Bi diziplina erabili ziren Turkiako kafe-kikara diseinatzeko. 1. Potter Tornua 2. CNC Erreminta Honen helburua Potter tornuan eskuz konformatzeko prozesuan sortutako izpiritua CNC makinan zenbat azpimarra daitekeen esperimentatzea zen.

Turkish Coffe Cup Mahai-Tresnak Urrezko Saria A' Design Award irabazlea da, lehen mailako, zoragarriak eta nabarmenak diren diseinuei ematen zaien aitorpen izugarri prestijiotsua. Urre-mailako irabazleak berrikuntzaz beteriko, ikuspegi handiko eta distiraz liluragarriak diren sorkuntzak dira, beren diseinatzaileen genioa, jakituria eta trebetasuna islatzen dutenak. Turkish Coffe Cup Mahai-Tresnak oso goraipatua, joera-markatzailea eta monumentala den asmakizuna izatea espero da, balio aurrekaririk gabea eskaintzen duena. Urrezko Saria A' Design Award irabazi duen diseinu hau proiektu ikusgarri eta errespetatua da, artearen, zientziaren, diseinuaren eta teknologiaren mugak oso onuragarriro zabaltzen dituena. Turkish Coffe Cup Mahai-Tresnak desira-sentimendu biziak sortzen dituen, grina pizten duen, sormena bultzatzen duen eta liluratzen gaituen lana da.

The purpose of this study was to emphasize on the wide range of applications of this self-sufficient independent tool potter’s wheel and see how much and what kind of result CNC can contribute to the existing designs by actually using it.

Diseinu Erronka: And the primary purpose here is mass production. What we wanted to do was to combine the warmth of potter’s wheel and precision of CNC lathe into a mass production ware.
Ikerketa: Each and every product made by using potter’s wheel is an unique even if you perform mass production! The traces of the artist’s hands stay with the product until the destroying of the object. CNC lathe, on the other hand, provides perfection and mechanical feeling to the product, which also gives an unique elegant look!
Inspirazioa: Mental is this cup form is actually a summary of Turkish cultural history! Geometric handle Seljuk period; Cloud motif Ottoman period; while the cylindrical form represents the element that carries both cultures today !
I had already done this cup form on the potter's wheel. My next aim was to witness how the form will look when the same form is made on the CNC Lathe

Also technical is this cup form also a visible result of the research work on "From the Potter's Wheel to the CNC Tool".
