À propos de Golf Chaise pliante, banc pliant

Golf est un banc et une chaise pliants entièrement réalisés en bois. Le design associe des éléments à section rectangulaire et cylindrique, les parties cylindriques étant profilées pour établir un rapport ergonomique avec le corps humain. Toutes les charnières et ferrures sont également en bois, ce qui confère aux pièces un caractère plus artisanal. La fixation est assurée par des chevilles en bois de sucupira, choisi pour sa résistance, si bien qu'aucune pièce métallique n'est nécessaire. Une fois pliés, le banc et la chaise forment des volumes compacts, faciles à transporter à la main et à ranger dans un espace réduit.

The folding bench and chair are made of natural wood, which guarantees great mechanical resistance.
All hinge and fittings systems are made with the same wood, giving the piece a more artisanal character.
The pieces are foldable, allowing it to be stored in a smaller space.

Technologie de Production: The Golf bench and the chair, which result from the introduction of a back element, have as their main characteristic, their constructive aspect and the fact that once dismantled they become reduced respectively to an easy-to-transport parallelepiped measuring 12x36x62cm (bench) and 12x36x76cm (chair).
From a construction point of view, it is used exclusively wood, for all articulating and fixing elements of the rectangular section pieces (95x17cm) with the cylindrical parts with a diameter of 35cm. Fixing is achieved using Sucupira wood dowels (more resistant) with a diameter of 10mm.

Inspiration: The traditional image of a bench resulting from the use of a segment of a tree trunk served as inspiration for the option of using rectangular and cylindrical section elements to compose this Design through wich, is intended to reach a relationship between its shapes and the human ergonomy.

Durée du Projet: The project started in February 2022 in Lisbon and Finished in August 2023 in Lisbon.
Flux Opérationnel: The mobility dimension, and the physical characteristics of this bench and chair allows easier manual transport while allowing it a multifunctionality of uses.It should be noted that the cylindrical elements allow for an easier manual transport of both the bench and the chair, and that the pieces are foldable, allowing it to be stored in a smaller space.
