The veranda is supported by rectangular steel pillars, which are arranged in a matrix, endowing the space with a sense of lightness and order. The restaurant floor is covered by various materials including greenery, pebbles, corrosion-resistant wooden panels and cement, to demarcate different functional spaces.
- Untwerpútdaging
- The design team had to optimize spatial layout to incorporate multiple operations. Besides, many indicators of the old building could no longer meet current standards in China, which posed a huge challenge. To solve this, the design team worked out many corresponding solutions, and kept a close eye on on-site construction, hence obtaining a safe, beautiful building which meets existing standards.
- Undersyk
- Since completion, a lot of drama festivals, lectures, art exhibitions and events have been held in the building, which has attracted a large number of local citizens. The project is situated in a cultural and creative park where plenty of design studios have settled in.
