An Dearadh

Maidir le Furniture Pavilion S Príomhfheidhm: Seomra Taispeántais

Is éard atá i bPailliún Troscáin S ná seomra taispeántais troscáin sealadach a dearadh do thrádaonach i Shanghai. Clúdaíonn an pailliún 150 méadar cearnach agus tá sé tógtha as 821 píosa sabhdrachta chaighdeánaigh réamhdhéanta, rud a fhágann gur féidir é a chóimeáil nó a dhíchóimeáil ar an láthair laistigh de 48 uair an chloig. Is é an cruach a dhéanann suas an chuid eile den struchtúr, agus tá an díon hipeirbólach clúdaithe le fabraic teann leaththrédhearcach a scaipeann solas na gréine go cothrom. Feidhmíonn na haonaid sabhdrachta mhodúlacha cruachta mar chuasa taispeána freisin. Tar éis an taispeántais, athraíodh an pailliún ina 410 tacar de bhoird agus cathaoireacha do phobal in aice láimhe.

Many exhibitors construct temporary showrooms in today's capitalist world, without considering the waste and pollution they usually cause. In response to that, at the Shanghai International Furniture Fair 2019, an outdoor pavilion, specially designed for a furniture exhibitor, was built with the aim of demonstrating how trade shows can be made more eco-friendly by employing the principles of a circular economy.

The facade of the building composed of stacksof modular plywood units that doubles as display coves, blurs the elements of doors, windows and walls, instead it blends the functions together. The transparent facade of the pavilion captures plenty of sunlight, while the 1.22-meter-deep window prevents the sun from shining directly into the showroom.
