An Dearadh

Maidir le Dream Príomhfheidhm: Lampa Boird

Téacs an Leabhair: Lampa boird é Dream atá deartha chun solas bog timpeallachta a sholáthar. Tá cruth piliúir ar an mbonn agus tá sé déanta as coincréit, agus is cruinneog ghloine shéidte é an scaipeoir, déanta de láimh sa Veinéis. Is minic a fheictear coincréit mar ábhar crua, fuar agus trom, agus mar sin múnlaíodh an fhoirm chun cuma bhog, éadrom agus theolaí a thabhairt di. Tugann modh nuálach múnlaithe agus coincréit an-mhínghráinneach dromchla aonfhoirmeach don lampa gan aon bholgáin le feiceáil. Tomhaiseann an lampa 24 faoi 24 faoi 14 ceintiméadar agus úsáideann sé bolgán G9 in-dhíomlasctha, ionas gur féidir an solas teolaí a choigeartú.

Creidiúintí, baill foirne agus sonraí teicniúla curtha ar fáil ag an dearthóir.

Airíonna Uathúla: A dream, a lamp thought during the exploration with concrete sparked by the CONCRETAmente objects collection.
An oxymoron comes to life where a pillow made in concrete cuddles a globe of light, creating a cocoon atmosphere.
Toisí & Pacáistiú: 24 x 24 h14 cm
3,5 kg
G9 dimmerable bulb
220V
Clibeanna: Tablelamp, lamp, design, soft, hard, concrete, glass, light
Teicneolaíocht Táirgthe: Through an innovative molding method and a particular type of very fine-grained concrete, we were able to obtain a unique shape that breaks the shemes and the usual stiffness of concrete.
The diffuser is obtained from a blown glass globe, handmade by the best glass masters of Venice.
Dúshlán Deartha: We were looking for a clever way of using concrete as main material for a table lamp. Our aim was to disconnect from the cold and solid sensation received from concrete.
Taighde: Starting from a deep research on small table lamps, we focused then on understanding which could be the right kind of light source.
Because the aim of this product is not to be a reading lamp, but to be an ambient lamp, the diffused light is the right choice.
What consumers are looking for in this category, is something that can warm up the environment. So concrete had to disconnect from the cold feeling that usually creates, and light had to be warm and dimmerable.
Inspioráid: Concrete as a material is always associated in the collective imagination with something hard, cold and heavy. In MrSmith Studio we believe that the role of the designer should be also to break the schemes and subvert the collective imagination, suggesting new interpretations.
This is why we modeled concrete to give it a soft, enveloping, light and warm shape.
Fad an Tionscadail: Development of the project took 6 months and has been entirely don in MrSmith Studio
Sreabhadh Oibríochta: The project of Dream started with a deep research on concrete moulding techniques.
We've made several trials for defining the best material both for the mould, the concrete and the procedure.
The final result is a soft looking pillow, with a uniform fine grain an no bubbles visible.
