An Dearadh

Maidir le Daphne Bróiste agus Siogairlín

Léiríonn an bróiste seo téama na háilleachta agus an chreidimh trí scéal Daphne, Nimfeach na Labhrais ó mhiotaseolaíocht na Gréige. Toisc nach bhfuil aithne mhaith air sa tSín, is gá an scéal a chur i láthair ar bhealach oiriúnach chun an dearadh seo a dhéanamh sothuigthe do lucht féachana na Síne. Chun an píosa seoda seo a chruthú, is é duilleog na labhrais ón scéal an chéad eilimint, agus is í an ghealach an eilimint eile, a mheastar mar shiombail an ghrá sa tSín. Is féidir leis a bheith ina bhróiste nó ina shiogairlín. Is turmailín dearg rúipí 10.745ct é an chloch lárnach, suite in ór bán 18K le diamaint agus máthairphéarla.

Dúshlán Deartha
The challenge of this process is the expression of the theme. The love story of Daphne is not widely known in China. It is difficult to find a suitable way to express the story and theme for Chinese audiences.

So I chose laurel leaves, which come from the story. I also decided on a moon element, considered a symbol of love in China, to integrate both elements to create this piece of jewelry.
Taighde
This piece of jewelry expresses the theme of beauty and faith through the love story of Daphne, the Laurel Nymph of Greek mythology. Because it is not well known in China, it is necessary to present the story in a suitable way to make this design understandable to Chinese audiences. So I chose laurel leaves, which come from the story. I also decided on a moon element, considered a symbol of love in China, to integrate both elements to create this piece of jewelry. It can be a brooch or a pendant. The center stone is a 10.745ct rupee red tourmaline, set in 18K white gold with diamonds and mother-of-pearl.
Inspioráid
Design inspiration came from the love story, Daphne turned into a laurel tree, expressing beauty and faith in herself. One of the design elements is a laurel leaf, set with diamonds, which whirl around the center stone, just like the moment when Daphne turns into a laurel tree.

When it comes to love, it is naturally associated with the moon in China. Moon has been a symbol of love since ancient times, so another design element is the moon. They were integrated to create this piece of jewelry.
Fad an Tionscadail
The project started in October 2019 and finished in January 2020 in Yunnan, China.
