Dúshlán Deartha: One of the greatest challenges we encountered during the implementation and research process was ensuring the compatibility of the FurBallRetreat between home and outdoor spaces. We strive to ensure that people do not have to occupy more space to accommodate the cat bag, and hope that FurBallRetreat will not only solve the problem of carrying the cat bag but also integrate into family life. At the same time, more environmentally friendly materials used in the design of cat nests are researched.
Taighde: We surveyed 500 cat owners and discovered that 83% of them carry a cat bag when going out with their cat, while only 12% do not. This indicates that carrying a cat bag is a common phenomenon. However, the cat bag occupies a large space and its storage when not in use is also a problem. In response to this challenge, we designed a portable cat bag for home, aiming to solve the problem of idleness, reduce storage space, make it easy to carry, and provide cats with more security. At the same time, more environmentally friendly materials are selected and matched.
Inspioráid: When traveling or engaging in outdoor activities with cats, it is often necessary to address the issue of carrying pet outdoor supplies that take up a lot of space. This not only adds to the burden of the owner but also brings the trouble of storing idle items at home. In response to the challenges that families and cats encounter when traveling together, we explored how to design more portable cat shelters, aiming to provide a more convenient and flexible solution.

Sreabhadh Oibríochta: Whether you're in a garden, patio, or camping outdoors, FurBallRetreat can be set up quickly. When unfolded, it becomes a cat's bed that can be placed in any space, while when folded, it takes up only the thickness of a book.
