Sobre The Animal Backbone Interior de Tenda Comercial

The Animal Backbone é o interior dunha tenda comercial situada en Shanghai, dentro dun edificio histórico que noutro tempo funcionou como matadoiro e que hoxe é un centro cultural e creativo. O espazo abrangue 100 metros cadrados e está construído con placa metálica, espello e vidro. A distribución segue o percorrido dun gato ao camiñar, e un círculo divide as áreas interior e exterior. As portas e fiestras permiten vistas entre as dúas zonas, mentres que no interior se dispoñen escenas de salón, comedor, cociña e baño. O deseño convida á reflexión sobre as persoas e os animais que comparten a cidade.

Respecting the tens of thousands of animal souls, we are always looking for a way to have a commemorative architecture, trying to make an icy building to echo the concrete, and to arouse the painful memories and facts of killing animals because of lust.
