Two Sails ઘર વિશે
ટુ સેઇલ્સ એ બે પેઢીના પરિવાર માટે ડિઝાઇન કરાયેલું દરિયાકિનારાનું ઘર છે. બે માળનું આ લાકડાનું બાંધકામ જાપાનના ઓકાયામામાં આવેલું છે, જેનું બાંધકામ ક્ષેત્રફળ 800 ચોરસ મીટરના પ્લોટ પર 250 ચોરસ મીટર છે. છતનો આકાર જહાજના સઢની યાદ અપાવે છે અને કુદરતી પ્રકાશ તથા દરિયાઈ પવનને અંદરના ભાગમાં ખેંચી લાવવામાં મદદ કરે છે. રહેવાની જગ્યાઓ ઉત્તરીય અને દક્ષિણી વિભાગોમાં વહેંચાયેલી છે, જેથી દરેક પેઢી પોતાની ગોપનીયતા જાળવી શકે. છતવાળો કોરિડોર બંને વિભાગોને જોડે છે અને વરસાદના દિવસોમાં પણ અવરજવર શક્ય બનાવે છે. બહારની દીવાલો પર ટકાઉ ધાતુનું આવરણ છે જે દરિયાઈ હવાથી થતા કાટ સામે પ્રતિરોધક છે.
