Abu ne mai matukar ban sha'awa a sami damar ganin bangarorin tarihin wata ƙasa da kuma labarin mutum ta hanyar hangen nesa daban-daban. Wannan shine ya haifar da ƙirƙirar Sousmotif, saiti mai saukar ungulu wanda aka samo wahayi daga kayan ƙira da aka samo akan yadin da kayan gargajiya ke samarwa a Arewacin Girka. Tarihi ya ci gaba ta hanyar mai ba da magani kuma ya sami sabon juyi.

Zanen Sousmotif Coaster ya lashe Kyautar A' Design Award ta Baƙin Ƙarfe, wata karramawa mai daraja da ake bai wa kyawawan zane-zane waɗanda ke cika buƙatun ƙwararru da masana'antu da ake tsammani daga ƙirƙire-ƙirƙire da aka tsara da kyau. Waɗanda suka lashe kyautar Baƙin Ƙarfe suna nuna babban ƙwarewa, ƙwarewa ta musamman, fahimtar ƙwararru da ikon ƙirƙira na masu ƙirƙirar su. Ana sa ran zanen Sousmotif Coaster ya zama ƙirƙira da ake girmamawa sosai, ake sha'awa da ƙauna wacce ke da amfani kuma mai sababbin abubuwa. Wannan zane da ya lashe Kyautar A' Design Award ta Baƙin Ƙarfe yana haɗa mafi kyawun ayyukan fannin kuma yana da halayen fasaha masu cancanta da ke da alaƙa da sanin yadda da baiwa. Ana girmama zanen Sousmotif Coaster saboda cikakkiyar kulawarsa kuma an tsara shi don ba da ingantuwar rayuwa da ke taimakawa wajen mai da duniya wuri mafi kyau.

Siffofi Na Musamman: The idea that one coaster could be multiplied into two and also combine the two different materials or not into various combinations according to the user's aesthetics was very intriguing to me.

Fasahar Samarwa: Sousmotif is made out of laser cut okoume wood and white plexiglass.
Because of the different nature of the materials, there was a lot of fine tuning that took place in order to reach the desired result.
Ƙalubalen Zane: The transition from the folklore past to the present situation made me to lean first to wood as a natural material which would be complemented with Plexiglas. Keeping in mind the factor of sturdiness and after several tests with different types of wood, okoume plywood seemed to be the finest solution. The wish to get the user to create hers or his personal touch according to how they will combine or not these different materials and shapes led us to the design of a well-balanced product with a profound reference to Greece's recent past.
Bincike: I was always intrigued by the technical skills of the users of the traditional looms in Greece and the fine and rich results they were able to deliver through a vast number of motifs created on textiles. My idea was to brake down these motifs into simplified forms that they would be able to live through objects of our everyday life.
Wahayi: In search for a new generation of souvenirs that would bring up hidden aspects of our history, I came up with Soumotif. It is a coaster which is inspired by the motif found on textiles produced by a traditional loom in Northern Greece. The motif from a textile, is transformed into a 3D object, which is brought into our everyday lives through a coaster.
Tsawon Lokacin Aikin: The project started in March 2016 in Athens and finished in July 2016 in Athens, and was exhibited in It's all, oh so souvenir to me Vol. 4, Thessaloniki Greece
Tsarin Aiki: Each set consists of 4 coasters which by being able to be multiplied give us 8 coasters in total. When a coaster is placed on a surface, a negative or a positive footprint of the motif is created on it.
