Book Text: ʻO Etile he pihi kapili hale metala fotovoltaika i hoʻolālā ʻia no ka hoʻohana ʻana ma nā ʻano hale he nui. Hoʻokumu ʻia kēlā me kēia mōkuʻina ma luna o kahi pihi kapili hale kila kalavano kuʻuna a lawe ʻo ia i ʻelima mau pāneka fotovoltaika liʻiliʻi e hana ana i ka uila. He 1200 ma 360 ma 30 mm ka nui o nā mōkuʻina a ua hui pū ʻia me he mau pihi kapili hale maʻamau lā, me nā pilina uea i hūnā ʻia ma lalo o ka uhi kapili hale. Ua pili ka laina mana i ka pūnaewele mana o ka hale. Hiki ke hoʻokaʻawale ʻia ka pāneka kila i ka pau ʻana o ke ola o ka huahana. Hoʻohui ʻo Etile i ka hana ikehu me ka hoʻololi ʻole ʻana i ka hoʻolālā o ke kapili hale.

E Pili Ana i ka A' Design Award Kala
Ua lanakila ka hoʻolālā Etile Primary Function: Kapili Hale Pihi Fotovoltaika i ka A' Design Award Kala, he ʻike hoʻohanohano nui loa i hāʻawi ʻia i nā hoʻolālā kiʻekiʻe loa, nani a kupaianaha. He mau hana ʻālohilohi loa a hana noʻeau nui nā lanakila Kala e hōʻike ana i ka loea, ka makakoho a me ka ʻoi aku o ka noʻonoʻo o kā lākou poʻe hoʻolālā. Manaʻo ʻia ʻo ka hoʻolālā Etile Primary Function: Kapili Hale Pihi Fotovoltaika he hana kupaianaha, kūlana ʻoi aku, ʻoihana kiʻekiʻe a hou loa. ʻO kēia hoʻolālā i lanakila i ka A' Design Award Kala he mea hoʻokumu kūpono loa, mahalo ʻia e hāʻawi i ka pōmaikaʻi a hoʻoneʻe i nā palena o ka hana noʻeau, ka ʻepekema, ka hoʻolālā a me ka ʻenehana. He mea i ʻeleu ʻia e nā mea he nui ka hoʻolālā Etile Primary Function: Kapili Hale Pihi Fotovoltaika e hoʻāla i ka makemake, lawe mai i nā manaʻo maikaʻi a hoʻāla i ka kamahaʻo a me ka mahalo.

- the design of the etile is based on metal roof tiles, a traditional solution based on galvanized steel has created an easily available product. Each individual module has 5 micro photovoltaic panels that generate energy. The steel panel can be easily separated, which is extremely important for the product life cycle.
- Pilikia Hoʻolālā
- Our company has been collecting experience in photovoltaics by installing panels on roofs. Most of the insides came from our customers who complained about the poor aesthetics and the mismatch of the size of the panels to the roof. The design challenge was available solutions that would be quick to install, available cheap and aesthetically.
- Noiʻi
- the roofing sheet project was a research and development project during which many tests were carried out. During the design process, we were testing various panel sizes, material connectrions and overal look of product on the building.
- Hoʻoulu Manaʻo
- Traditional photovoltaic panels often look unsightly on the building, their large size does not allow for an exact fit to the roof body. We wanted to propose a solution which would look good on the building and not stand out from traditional roof tiles.
- Ka Lōʻihi o ka Papahana
- the project was developed in Warsaw. Conceptual work lasted from september 2016. After many prototypes and tests, the project was finally implemented in January 2020.
- Kaʻina Hana
- The modules are connected together in the same way as ordinary roof tiles. The only element distinguishing Etile are cable connections, which are hidden under the roof sheathing. As in the case of a solar installation, the power line is connected to the home power grid.
