Promotion הוא כיסא אוכל העשוי מעץ אגוז שחור צפון אמריקאי. העיצוב שואב השראה מחתך הרוחב של העץ, המשטח המסומן בטבעות השנתיות. ריבועים קטנים של חתך רוחב מחוברים ביניהם כדי ליצור דוגמה הדומה ללוח שחמט. מבנה צפין ומקצב מותאם אישית שומר על יציבות המסגרת בעוד הצורה נותרת פשוטה. בייצור נעשה שימוש בחריטת CNC, והמשטח מסיים בשעוות עץ. חתכים בזוויות שונות יוצרים אפקטים רכים של אור וצל. הכיסא מתאים למסעדות, בתים וטרקלינים.

- The challenge is to keep the whole structure stable with a simple shape. To make it, the product has a customized mortise and tenon structure to keep the structure stable and add some decors to details. Sections with different angles present various light and shadow effects, presenting a profound feeling and soft reflective effect.

- If its end grain seat is compared to a chess board, this simple chair can be seen as a pawn with no dramatic shape. But even a pawn, as long as he keeps going, can become a bishop, a knight, a castle, or even a queen when he reaches the end line, which is called Promotion.

- The product is inspired by the end grain (tree ring) of wood with unique touch and texture, unlike the section of conventional wood furniture. This Promotion chair is made of small end grain squares putting together in order with the customized mortise and tenon structure presenting the aesthetic feeling of chessboard, standing out from conventional wood furniture.
