Kev Tshawb Fawb: I am fascinated by the profound beauty and unique delicate texture of nephrite jade which represents the deepest spiritual pursuit and I have always been interested in finding out new approaches in combining nephrite jade with gold, diamonds, pearls and other precious stones in jewelry design.
Kev Txhawb Siab: Flowers are often seen as symbols of joy and pleasure, and are a recurring theme in art and poetry. As a visual artist and jewelry designer, I would like to create and present an ideally perfect flower which integrate culturally significant flowers, which are lotus, peony, chrysanthemum, calla lily and magnolia, into one whole piece. Flowering period of the five different flowers alternates throughout the year, implying happiness all year round. Also, it means everlasting blooming.
Lub Sij Hawm Ua Hauj Lwm: The project started in June 2020 and finished in September 2020 in Tianjin, China.
Txheej Txheem Ua Hauj Lwm: The flower bangle disassemble to 5 different petal pendants, a cocktail ring and a simple bangle. Also it could become a sculpture for display when not worn.
