J16 Smart je višenamjenski čitač crtičnog koda dizajniran za primjenu u maloprodaji, medicini, logistici i proizvodnji. Softver za daljinsko upravljanje omogućuje podešavanje čitača pritiskom na jedan gumb. Tehnologija ubrzanja povećava brzinu dekodiranja na dvadeset očitavanja u sekundi. Multispektralno dodatno osvjetljenje prepoznaje okolinu i automatski mijenja boju kako bi poboljšalo točnost očitavanja. Rješenje s polariziranim svjetlom smanjuje prekomjernu osvijetljenost i pojavu duhova uzrokovanu oštećenim, zamućenim ili reflektirajućim crtičnim kodovima. Kućište je izrađeno od visokočvrste inženjerske plastike putem postupka dvobojnog injekcijskog prešanja.
