Gyártástechnológia: He used Blender for organic modeling and paired Cinema 4D with Redshift to create stunning 3D wafer images. Every texture was crafted from scratch using procedural techniques, resulting in a unique and authentic look that captures the essence of real wafers. Final adjustments to color, contrast, and brightness were made in Photoshop, enhancing the overall appeal. This approach showcases his true skill and artistry in every detail.
Design kihívás: The main challenge of this project was to capture the complexities of the wafer textures and the creaminess of the filling. Achieving depth, lightness, texture, and mouthwatering appeal is difficult, and creating a hyper-realistic cake requires skill. Many hours were spent fine-tuning the texture’s displacement parameters. Close-up camera positioning was crucial for capturing subtle details and highlighting the wafer’s delicious features, elevating the final render's quality.
Kutatás: For this project, he used the physical product as a reference and a magnifying glass for analysis, allowing him to translate intricate features into 3D software with procedural textures. Crafted from mathematical calculations, these textures create smooth or rough, opaque or translucent surfaces.
