Book Text: A Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset Mini egy sport Bluetooth fejhallgatóhoz készült csomagolás. A csomagolás elülső részén csak a fülhallgatók és a vezérlő látható, míg a kábel rejtve marad. Belül egy PET tálca tartja rögzítve a fejhallgatót, a külső borítást pedig egy papír héj alkotja. Távolról nézve a két fülhallgató szemekként, a vezérlő pedig szájként jelenik meg. A hozzáadott színek és nyomtatott részletek minden csomagot egy-egy különböző kifejezést hordozó emoji-arccá alakítanak. A design célja, hogy alacsony gyártási költség mellett szólítsa meg a fiatal vásárlókat.

- This is a low-profile product that targets the lower end of the sports headset market. So it is the designer's task to add an element of fun to its packaging, using the language of the younger generation to appeal to them, emoji comes to mind. The headset and controller can also be viewed as the eyes and mouth of an emoji icon. The packagings become emoji icons with different emotions.

- The visual design require to hide the wires, only leave the headset and controller out. Therefore the packaging structure design must consider how to hide the wires and still keep the whole packaging structure solidly. By using PET tray inside and a paper cover outside, the front of the packaging only shows the handset and controller.

- Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset Mini is a low profile product that targets the lower end of the sports headset market. The retail price for the product is 12.9 Euro in China. The overall packaging budget was limited to about 0.6 Euro. So it is the design task to add some attractive elements to its packaging and make it outstanding from the shelves.
- Inspiráció
- In current China, for phone chatting, the young generation use a lot of picture formed emoji to chat to each other, instead of typing words. To make this low-profit product more easier to approach young generation, our design strategy is to use the language of the younger generation to appeal to them-emoji comes to mind.

- The project started in April 2018 and finished in April 2019 in Beijing, China

- Emoji is an amazing way of communication-a single emoji can encompass so many different meanings. From a distance the shell of the headset are just blocks of black, but it can also be viewed as the eyes of an emoji icon; similarly the controller becomes the mouth. With additional decorations and colors, the packagings become emoji icons with different emotions.
