Animal Backbone-ը մանրածախ խանութի ինտերիեր է Շանհայում՝ պատմական շենքի ներսում, որը ժամանակին ծառայել է որպես սպանդանոց, իսկ այժմ մշակութային և ստեղծագործական կենտրոն է։ Տարածքը զբաղեցնում է 100 քառակուսի մետր և կառուցված է մետաղյա թիթեղից, հայելուց և ապակուց։ Հատակագիծը հետևում է կատվի քայլքի հետագծին, իսկ շրջանաձև գիծը բաժանում է ներքին և արտաքին տարածքները։ Դռներն ու պատուհանները թույլ են տալիս տեսադաշտ երկու գոտիների միջև, մինչդեռ ներսում դասավորված են հյուրասենյակի, ճաշասենյակի, խոհանոցի և լոգարանի տեսարաններ։ Դիզայնը հրավիրում է խորհրդածելու մարդկանց և կենդանիների՝ քաղաքը կիսելու մասին։
