«Ինժեներական Վերածնունդ»-ը ակադեմիական փոխանակման կենտրոն է, որը ձևավորվել է Գուիգանգում գտնվող մեկհարկանի հիվանդանոցային շենքի վերակառուցման արդյունքում։ Պահպանվել է սկզբնական եռախորշ հատակագիծը, մինչդեռ կառուցվածքն ամրապնդված է օղակաձև հեծանային ծածկապանելով, առանձնացված պողպատե սյուներով, մալուխային համակարգով և նոր երկհարկանի տարածությամբ։ Տանիքի սալիկները վերականգնվել են։ Ինտերիերի հիմնական նյութերն են ապակին և պողպատը, որոնց լրացնում է փայտի իմիտացիան։ Ներառված են գեղանկարչության և կալիգրաֆիայի ցուցասրահ և արևով լուսավորված ատրիումային սենյակ։ Նախկին 375 քառակուսի մետր տարածքով շենքն ավելացել է 587 քառակուսի մետրով՝ հասնելով 962 քառակուսի մետրի։

Compared with other historical heritages, the protection of traditional buildings is more difficult and more difficult to be recognized by the public. Therefore, from the perspective of "activation" of traditional buildings and public space in the context of urban renewal, combined with the whole research and design experience of the academic exchange center project of Guigang people's Hospital of Guangxi, this paper analyzes and summarizes the strategy of "activation" of historical buildings based on the protection and current situation of representative historical and cultural buildings in Lingnan area.
