Desain Layanan untuk Penerimaan Mahasiswa merupakan sistem layanan yang dirancang untuk periode penerimaan mahasiswa baru sebuah universitas. Desain ini memadukan platform kolaborasi daring dengan ruang luring. Pada platform tersebut, staf dari berbagai departemen secara bersama-sama menambahkan dan memperbarui informasi modul serta statistik yang menjadi tanggung jawab mereka. Di ruang luring, alat bantu seperti peta perjalanan (journey map) mendukung analisis, diskusi, dan pengambilan keputusan. Mahasiswa menerima layanan konsultasi, penyambutan penerimaan, bimbingan dari sesama mahasiswa, dan brosur penerimaan. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan kinerja lintas departemen serta mengurangi kecemasan yang dialami mahasiswa.

Teknologi Produksi: The entire process consists of an online collaboration platform and offline space. The online collaboration platform allows executives to jointly add and modify the module information they are responsible for, as well as statistics data to complete their work efficiently. They can analyze, discuss and make decisions based on the information in the offline space, which provide a series of tools such as journey maps, and other methods to assist them in their judgment.
Tantangan Desain: Information islands and lack of effective communication are the main facing problems. Design in traditional Chinese university is subject to many administrative constraints. It is not easy to start service design at a university for the first time, especially to allow members of different departments to discuss together and participate in the process of service design-it is completely different from previous university meetings.
Riset: The project is based on the method of service design, and the research objects include two main groups: students and staff from multiple departments.
Desktop research has given us the perspective and research methods of cross departmental collaboration and student service. Participatory observations and interviews help us understand the current situation of cross-departmental work and the demands of students.
Inspirasi: We worked on this project in most departments of the school. It intends to promote the university department to understand the needs of students and provide services to help students eliminate their anxiety during the enrollment period.
In this project, we transform the work department into an organic aggregate, that allows different departments to collaborate and solve problem together. This allows the department to connect students in a sustainable way and provide the services they need.
Durasi Proyek: The project started in 2019 in China and finished in 2020 in China.
