Tentang AD House Rumah Tinggal Keluarga Tunggal
AD House adalah sebuah rumah tinggal keluarga tunggal yang berlokasi di Teresina, Brasil, sebuah kawasan dengan iklim yang sangat panas. Rumah ini menawarkan ruang terbangun seluas 495 meter persegi di atas lahan seluas 814 meter persegi. Lantai dasar menampung dapur, garasi, ruang keluarga dan ruang makan, serta sebuah patio, sementara kamar-kamar tidur ditempatkan di lantai satu. Sebuah ruang bersama untuk berkumpul dan beristirahat ditempatkan di atap. Dindingnya terbuat dari bata keramik, strukturnya dari beton, dan atapnya dari genteng aluminium termo-akustik. Layar kayu bakar (charred wood) dan ruang hijau yang terintegrasi mengurangi panas di dalam ruangan.

- Keunikan
- The projects consists of a 495 sqm of constructed space. Located in Teresina, Brazil, a very warm region, the house protects its residents of the heat integrating green spaces within the house. The grounf floors consists of a kitchen, garage, living and dining rooms, patio and other dependencies. The first floor is the privative space where is located the bedrooms. The rooftop consists of a communal space where residents can gather and relax.

- The house is located on a 33m x 33m x 38m x 13m site. It has 495 sqm of constructed space on a 814sqm site

- Teknologi Produksi
- The walls were made using ceramic bricks, the structure was made using concrete and the roof was made using thermo-acoustic aluminum tiles. The brise soleils were made using a japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban which consist of burning wood to better preserve it.
- Tantangan Desain
- The structure of the house was the most complicated part, since there is a swimming pool on the second floor which can be viewed from the ground floor. The entire house is constructed on concrete pillars. Charred wood was also used by design choice since it can preserve wood for a very long period.
- Riset
- The entire house was designed by Flavio Franco. The design process took about one month to complete. The architect wanted to design a house that incorporate a lot of green spaces and it has a swimming pool floating above the ground floor. The finished result is a house that blends in the landscape and it looks very light.
- Inspirasi
- The main inspiration for this house was the surrounding landscape, since the site is located on the highest part of the location. One of the design principles was to use this so the residents could have the best views available in the region. The house is integrated with nature and its surroundings using light materials and transparencies.
