Tentang Eastern Aesthetics Desain Interior Hunian

Eastern Aesthetics adalah desain interior sebuah vila di Suzhou, Tiongkok, dengan luas 1300 meter persegi. Desainnya berangkat dari gaya hidup ideal para cendekiawan Dinasti Song Selatan. Ruang-ruang ditata secara berurutan di sepanjang sumbu tengah, mengikuti kaidah kriya klasik Taman Master of the Nets di Suzhou. Dinding kayu dikerjakan oleh para perajin mebel gaya Ming dengan sambungan kayu yang dibuat khusus. Perangkat pencahayaan di halaman menyerupai kelopak bunga. Kursi taman berwarna biru berdiri di samping pagar kayu, memadukan unsur klasik dan kontemporer.

Keunikan: This villa is designed on the basis of the ideal style for ancient literati in the Southern Song Dynasty that creates a new eastern holiday lifestyle. The house is designed with the layouts progressively developed along the central baseline and with the classical craftsmanship of the Master of the Nets Garden in Suzhou, all of which displaying the sequential features of the ancient Chinese architectures in the contemporary house.

Teknologi Produksi: The splendid entrance expanded inward the main outdoor area of villa, where is decorated with the crafty architectural elements and the elaborate ornaments. The lighting fixtures decorated along the courtyard figuratively resemble the flower petals. The wood rails consistently surrounding the courtyard are captivating. The blue cozy and fashionable garden chairs, as the daylight scattering through wood rails, signify the contrast of classical and contemporary elements.
Tantangan Desain: To blend the ancient style with the contemporary style in a harmony way was the most difficult part of this design. We cannot just simply put the things together. They need to intermingle without losing their separate identities.
Riset: This project was designed by myself, Haihua Zhang, and photographed by Yunpu Cai. I admire the living way of Southern Song Dynasty and the beauty of contemporary design. So, I present to you, Eastern Aesthetics.
Inspirasi: This was inspired by the life style of Southern Song Dynastic. We have managed to figure out a way of reaching a balance between contemporary building and ancient design.
Durasi Proyek: The project finished in November 2018 in Suzhou.
Alur Operasi: It's worth mentioning that the wood walls are adorned by the old draftsmen specializing the Ming style furniture, whose craftsmanship of the customized woodworking joints superiorly brings out the traditional artistry of Suzhou style furniture.
