By this insight, NIRO-Key has an elegant & round design language to bring more friendly & comfortable experience. After recognizing users, the device can greet in a warm manner to provide user cares.
Mkpali: With the development of face recognition technology, related products have begun to be used in access control, conference sign-in, company attendance, visitor reception, and payment scenarios. Now the products in the market are mainly targeted at one single scenario. Different scenarios require different products to be deployed, and enterprise needs complex deployments. We hope to produce a universal product that can cover all usage scenarios to enable quick enterprise deployment.
Oge Ọrụ: The project started in March 2019 in Beijing and ends in January 2020.
It was first released at Baidu Create 2019 – Baidu AI Developer Conference in July 2019.
Then in September 2019, the functional prototype was exhibited at the 2019 Baidu 2019 ABC INSPIRE Summit.

Compared to the traditional face recognition device with a single display screen, NIRO-Key has a touch screen, which brings richer self-service functions such as visitor service and self-checkout. Users only need to upload selfies to the cloud with mobile phone to achieve registration. The device has wireless control function allowing on-site upgrade to provide an efficient operation and maintenance.
