Babagan Nikao Meja Sisih
Meja Sisih Nikao punika prabot ingkang elok ingkang adhedhasar konsep evolusioner saking geometri bunder lan silinder. Geometri-geometri kasebut dipuntransformasi supados saged adaptasi kaliyan lingkungan tartamtu lan fungsi tartamtu. Kanthi cara punika, fungsi lan struktur kasil dipunrampungaken kanthi tetep njagi esensi geometris asli saking prabot punika, lan dados obyek ingkang langkung organik saha langkung kompleks. Meja Sisih Nikao berinteraksi kaliyan sing mirsani kanthi cara ingkang alamiah. Wujudipun ingkang narik kawigaten, sareng hangatipun bahan, ndadosaken pangguna nyedhaki, ndemek lan lenggah wonten ing sakiwatenipun.

- Sifat Unik
- Nikao Side Table is an elegant, daring and cutting edge piece of furniture based on an evolutionary concept or circular and cylindrical geometries, which are transformed in order to adapt to a certain environment and function. By doing so, both structure and utility are solved maintaining the original essence of the piece, and becoming a more complex and organic object.
- Ukuran & Kemasan
- Width 540mm x Depth 540mm x Height 540mm
- Tag
- Side table, solid wood, organic design, wooden furniture, modern, luxury, unique, minimal design
- Teknologi Produksi
- The construction and manufacturing process equally combines technology and craftsmanship. High quality Iroko solid wood planks are machined three-dimensionally using a 5 axis CNC milling router, following a 3D drawing. Once the pieces are machined, these are glued and assembled one another by wood artisans obtaining the final shape and giving life to the object.
- Tantangan Desain
- I found specially challenging to achieve an organic, beautiful and eye-catching piece of furniture through its complex manufacturing process. It needs to be magnetic to the viewer. Technically, the great challenge was to model and CNC cut the wooden pieces with such a complex geometry.
- Riset
- When facing Nikao side table, I had nature and living forms as a reference and inspiration. The creative process consists of trying to emulate this evolutionary natural process through natural materials and give a function to it, in this case a side table. This experimental phase is developed through direct transformation exercises using everyday simple material such as plasticine or paper, and tools such as drawing and 3D software. Once the model is created, a prototype is manufactured and tested using CNC technology and wood craftsmanship.
- Inspirasi
- When facing Nikao side table, I had nature and living forms as a reference and inspiration. Every curve and surface present in nature has a biological explanation related to a certain function over time, and these evolutionary transformations are my source of inspiration to create Nikao. The creative process consists of trying to emulate this natural process through natural materials and give a function to it, in this case a side table.
- Durasi Proyek
- The project started in February 2023 and finished in March 2023 in Madrid.
- Alur Operasi
- Nikao side table interacts with the observer in a natural way. The human eye is more used to curved lines and surfaces, they have always been present in nature, they surround us. That instinct lingers in our animal subconscious, and the soft, natural forms give us pleasure and tranquility. Its attractive shape, together with the warmth of the material, makes the user to come closer, touch it, sit next to it.
