Handling Australian Crystal Opal was difficult due to its softness and transparency. Our design protects the stone with custom-crafted settings and a blackened gold backing that boosts its fire effect. The final Opal setting secures both brilliance and durability, achieving elegant functionality.
Riset: Our study fuses cosmic forces and women's history to design jewelry celebrating transformation and empowerment. Through iterative prototyping with symbols (Big Bang, Yin and Yang, eye, cushion hexagon), we collected data via material trials, optical spectroscopy, and 3D modeling. Experts and artisans evaluated prototypes, showing that blackened gold backing boosts opal brilliance. Findings show sustainable luxury drives refined lifestyles, shaping market trends, culture, and design evolution.

Durasi Proyek: The project started in March 2024 in Hanoi, Vietnam and finished in September 2024.

The pendant transforms effortlessly when paired with gold, silver, leather, or nylon chains, adapting to various occasions.
